cinema by both emerging talent and recognised international artists.

- 18 & 19 October 2008 - Kentuck
Festival of the Arts - celebrates a variety of artistic styles
ranging from folk to contemporary arts as well as traditional crafts,
in Northport, Alabama.
- 18 October 2008 (Sunday) - Detroit
Free Press Marathon The marathon, half marathon and team
relays offer an international course crossing the US and Canadian
border twice via the Ambassador Bridge and the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel
(the only underwater international mile in the world). In addition to
the international course, participants will experience the true spirit
of Detroit passing through Corktown, Mexicantown, Belle Isle, Indian
Village and Greektown before finishing on the 50 yard line of Ford
Field, home of the 2006 Super Bowl XL.
